Project History: bonnet and bootlid refurbished. aluminium door provided have been modified to suit and refurbished. Carburetor overhaul: It is apparent that the carburetors have been overhauled properly at some time. However is is now well known, that modern fuel disintegrate overt time, and residues cause severe damages to fuel equipment. In this case one jet was seized and had to be drilled out, other tubes got damaged while removing. Should you part the car in future pls. drain all fuel beforehand Engine bay largely dismantled to replace missing/defective parts. Rebuild brake system fitted. Radiator and thermostat pipe to go to contractor for servicing/rebuild Complete Brakes system and fuel tank removed. Severe corrosion damage through storage. - Remove master cylinder and booster to be overhauled. - removed fuel gauge, and tank to be removed as gauge seized and tank very dirty - Wiring under dashboard stripped, the wiring is in a very bad state and will be rebuild. The interior is in fairly good condition and we will try to preserve that. We will proceed as follows: After receipt of deposit to secure the job we will: - arrange date with Mario to collect the car: - Strip car completely. - Move body to Fineblast for complete stripping and primer - We can then decide if the metal work will be done by Mario or by Fineblast - Bodywork and Paint by Mario - In the meantime we will rebuild all systems on the bench - Final reassembly by us.
